Late Payment Policy:
Payment is due prior to the service period shown on the top of your invoice.
A SKIP LIST IS CREATED ON THE 1ST & 15TH AND IF PAYMENT IS NOT RECEIVED, YOU WILL BE SKIPPED.
A $10.00 late fee will automatically be charged to your account after the due date and full payment must be made to continue service.
If you need extra time, please text me at 512.629.1825 and tell me when you will make a payment. In most cases, I can arrange for service to continue.
If you don't contact us and payment is 6 weeks late, we will pick up the cart.
WHEN TO HAVE YOUR CART OUT:
IT SHOULD BE AT THE CURB BY 6 AM OR THE NIGHT BEFORE.
OUR TRUCKS RUN ON TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. UNLESS A HOLIDAY IS ON YOUR REGULAR PICKUP DAY, IT WILL NOT AFFECT PICKUP. IF YOU HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT IT, CALL, TEXT, CHECK THE HOME PAGE OF OUR WEBSITE, OUR FACEBOOK PAGE.
If You Are Skipped:
Our crews really care about our customers and understand that once and a while you forget to put out your cart. Once in a while they will go and get it if they can see it. (NOTE: there is no guarantee as this is a courtesy and not part of our regular service. It adds time to their very full days).
Drivers note the route if the cart is not out.
Route order changes are not unusual. If your cart was out by 6 AM and you were skipped, call and leave a message after 6 PM the day of your scheduled pickup. I will call you back or text you TO ARRANGE PICKUP.
WHAT GOES IN THE TRASH:
It's not Rocket Science, so we want to keep it simple. We pick up what you place in the cart and a little extra. We only pick up household trash, we do not pick up construction debris, furniture, yard waste, logs or any of the items excluded below.
We provide a 96 gallon cart. We will only pick up an additional 2 bags of garbage. If you need two carts, you need to pay for two. If on occasion you have a second cart due to seasonal cleaning, call the office and we will note it on the route sheet. Our driver is instructed NOT to pick up more than one cart.
Dogs occasionally knock over trash, tear up bags. Our people are careful to empty your trash and will not leave it behind. If there is trash outside the can, they will not clean up. Leash your dog or speak with your neighbors if you suspect their dogs are off leash.
If dogs are loose and our crew feels threatened, they are instructed to leave your trash. They will honk the horn for you to contain them. We value our employees and they know our priority is their safety.
Most folks know better than to put their dead animals or leftover paint in the trash. Here is a reminder of what we must exclude:
Unacceptable garbage items include:
- Aerosol Cans
- Computer equipment
- Construction/Remodeling debris
- Dead Animals
- Fluorescent Lights
- Household Chemicals
- Lawn clippings and brush
- Motor oil and other automotive fluids
- Non-alkaline Batteries
- Paint Thinners
- Photographic Chemicals
- Pool Chemicals
- Sheet Glass
We are not offering recycling. Smithville has a free recycling center opposite Brookshire Brothers Grocery. Free paper recycling is available at the Bastrop Public Library. Bastrop County recycles Christmas trees in early January.
WHY NOT RECYCLE? IF IT MAKES YOU FEEL GOOD, PLEASE DO IT. WE WOULD NEED TO CHARGE FOR THE EXPENSE OF ADDITIONAL OVERHEAD COSTS: TRUCKING, LABOR, FUEL AND WAREHOUSING. OUR UNDERSTANDING IS THAT IT DOES NOT PROVDE A VALUABLE NET GAIN IN ENERGY REDUCTION IN THE FULL LIFE CYCLE.
WE LOVE THIS PLANET AND RESPECT IT BY PAYING ATTENTION TO EFFICIENCY, KEEPING OUR VEHICLES IN TOP CONDITION AND NOT WASTING RESOURCES. YOUR SUGGESTIONS ARE WELCOMED.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to give us a call OR EMAIL LISA.
We hope to earn your respect and keep your business once you decide to give us a try.
